I love being able to meet people where they are at in their lives in that moment, and together, find a way to help them help themselves in improving their mental health and wellness. I have experience working with preteens, teens, adults, and couples, and have helped many people learn to manage stress, reduce anxiety, decrease their depression, improve their relationships, and navigate life transitions. I focus on building strong connections with the people I work with, as I feel that therapy starts with the warmth, empathy and compassion provided in the therapeutic relationship. I am a Client-Centered therapist, with a diverse skill set. I believe in coming to my clients with an open mind from a place of non-judgement. I prioritize getting to know my clients and their unique circumstances, thoughts, and feelings while collaborating with them to identify what their goals are. I tailor treatment and interventions to fit my clients and their specific needs from my experience in several treatment modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Attachment Based Therapy. I work within a trauma informed, culturally sensitive framework, and am an LGBTQ+ ally.
